We have been quiet lately. Too quiet. To make it up to everyone we have added a new promo piece to our DA site! This piece shows off Gage’s large Witch hunter friend, Scherinder, and his diminutive partner. Hope you guys like it!

So why so quiet? We have been working hard on issue #2. If things stay on track we should see a spring release. This should explain the lack of news updates, updates to Fun & Profit, etc.
Also, We are going to be re-tweaking the forums again. While spam has been kept in check, the user registration captcha has failed pretty poorly. We need to get this settled before anyone has any actual use for them
Finally, We have been unhappy with the way shipped comics where handled and their ultimate condition. From now on, any shipped comic will come bagged and boarded for the same price as before!

We decided to upgrade to WordPress 3.0. Due to having WP-United (the phpBB integrator) installed, the upgrade went awry. We had to reinstall WP from scratch and re-upload the database backup. Everything seems to be working at this time except the forums. We will get them back up asap.

Fun & Profit #4 is now up. Also, the print run for Ironhorse #1 is finally in house! We’ll turn on the online purchase system soon.

I know it seems like we say ‘coming soon!’ a lot but we honestly mean it! We have been waiting for the 2nd proof to come back from the printers but there was a one month delay. Not much we can do other than wait. This should be the last one as long as there are no more embarrassing typos.

As some of you may have noticed by now, Fun & Profit #1 has been posted in the web comics setion.
Not only that but Ironhorse #1 is currently at the printers. Barring any technical hang ups the proofing process should be done in about two weeks.

As you can see I have been busy hacking up the site and making it generally useless.
With the new release of WP-united, forums have been integrated into the site but are far from polished.
And, yes, I am working on the dual menu problem.
The first comic strip is almost out but needs a good proofing because spelling correctly is very hard, apperently.
The first comic issue will be out ‘soon.’ All the edits are finally in and we just need to talk to some printers about various logistics.
